A Saturday afternoon at Yishun

Now is the 7th Lunar month which is the Hungry Ghost festival month. Many chinese households, shops and businesses will perform rituals such as burning joss paper and provide food offerings to the ghosts/spirits in the other realm.

Our Indian friends also participated in burning joss paper though I'm pretty sure that they're doing it for their chinese towkay (boss).

Whether good economy or recession, the Singapore Pool is the undisputed place of HOPE for many Singaporeans and our foreign friends too.

Fitness Park with gym alike equipment located within the local housing estates.

Met her today and her owner say she is 12 years old. In terms of dog age (x7), she is 84 years old. Wow...grandmother already.

The community cats here live in harmony though they don't really mingle within themselves.

This one is the most friendly one among the lot in this area.

Camera shy or in meditation?

ROARRRRRR....................

If you're a potato lover, don't miss this shop called Potato Farmland in Yishun which sells all sorts of potato snacks.

They're located at Blk 239, Yishun Ring Road, #01-1152.
